I do appreciate the oneAPI, and I'm trying to start using it following this tutorial:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/docs/oneapi/user-guide-vs-code/2023-1/developing-a-visual-studio-code-project.html

The issue is on Windows none of the oneAPI VS Code tasks can be used besides "Intel oneAPI: Initialize environment variables"

The README in the example projects instruct the user to configure and build the project on the command line, which somewhat defeats the purpose of using the oneAPI VS Code extensions.

Could you put a clear warning of what is and isn't implemented so the user doesn't have to figure it out through trial and error?

Here's a 2024 updated link

Here's also a link to an issue I discovered trying to run the simple-add example using Visual Studio Code. Perhaps I should have posted the issue here on github?
