Incompatible with jQuery 3.2

I attempted to update my site to jQuery 3.3.1, but it causes problems with imgareaselect -- specifically if the image is rotated. I traced the issue specifically to jQuery 3.2. Works with lower versions, not with 3.2 or higher.
