The OCSF initiative and framework represent a remarkable achievement with immense potential for reshaping a lot of elements of the cybersecurity landscape. This issue is to humbly request the consideration for OCSF to expand its work within OASIS Open. This is a strategic move that promises to amplify its impact. Recognizing that many contributors to OCSF are already members of OASIS, this transition presents a natural synergy that could facilitate collaborative innovation and true standardization.

OASIS is one of the most reputable standards organization in the world. Integration with OASIS ensures alignment with international standards, enhancing compatibility across different technologies. OASIS facilitates a fair and open development process, free from vendor biases. Being part of OASIS Open adds significant credibility to OCSF.

OASIS Open is not only renowned for its commitment to technological advancement but also for its structured organizational support. They have dedicated staff specifically assigned to manage different administrative tasks. This allows the core team and contributors to focus on the essence of innovation and development without the distraction of ancillary responsibilities.

Also, OASIS has established a robust and well-coordinated workflow with significant international bodies such as ISO and ITU. This relationship streamlines the processes of standardization, compliance, and global recognition. It ensures that the projects under its umbrella, such as OCSF, can navigate the complex international landscape with ease and effectiveness.

Thank you for the consideration.
