Trying to install weeder on my system failed

  • nix-env -i weeder - no such derivation found (I am a noob when it comes to nix, to my knowledge these 'are' my channels unstable https://nixos.org/channels/nixpkgs-unstable
  • cabal new-install weeder - fails with building zlib - even though zlibg1-dev on my linux mint is installed
  • currently stack init + stack build --flag zlib:bundled-c-zlib works for me, is there
