We have observed that the HPO terms HP:0041090 (Avulsion fractured pelvic region of trunk) and HP:0041161 (Fractured pelvic region of trunk) have been obsoleted in the latest HPO version. While the HPO database has provided replacement terms for many obsoleted terms, it appears that replacements for HP:0041090 and HP:0041161 are not available.

To prevent the loss of phenotype information for our patients associated with these terms, we have attempted to map them to other HPO terms available in both HPO v2020 and HPO v2024 for downstream genomic analysis. However, we could only find similar terms with limited equivalence.

Below is our closest mapping for your reference:

HPO ID Obsoleted term in HPO 2020 Replacement term in HPO 2020

Thanks for pointing this out. Both of these terms were generated automaticlaly by templates and I think we made a mistake by obsoleting them. I think they should be made unobsolte with the labels Pevic fracture and Pelvic avulsion fracture.
I will do so for the next release if there is no objection.
