Document Design Patterns for Taxon Constraints in CL edit guide #713
Comments
Note: for (sensu Nematoda and Protostomia) I am doing subClassOf 'in taxon' only (not Deuterostomia) it's not even clear these are useful groupings. Date from CL 2005. However, we can axiomatize first then decide about obsoletion later |
Which edit guide? I started a doc here: https://github.com/obophenotype/cell-ontology/blob/e33a31bd5ae61df0f609c12023cb43864a74de21/documentation/relations_guide.md - Work in progress. |
ah yes, I forgot we didn't have one relations doc seem like a good start |
Actually I would like to do this generically here: https://ontology-development-kit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/TaxonRestriction.html we will want the same guide across ontologies |
I like the idea of pushing as much material as possible into the ODK read the docs. For the taxon constraints, could we have some usage guidance text too. It might also be useful to have some brief text or a link to a doc on how taxon constraints are used in reasoning to detect errors and to generate taxon restricted views. |
For now I am using
we need to document this
And document use of the taxon-constraints plugin: geneontology/protege-taxon-constraints#2
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
