Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with Lulu on macOS where the app closes unexpectedly without any error messages or warnings. Here’s the situation:
• The app runs normally for some time but eventually closes on its own.
• No error messages, crash windows, or prompts are displayed when this happens.
• When I check, Lulu is no longer running in the background or visible in the task manager.

Details:
• macOS Version: Sequoia 15.2
• Lulu Version: 2.9.7
• Mac Model: MacBook Pro M4
• Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Lulu.
2. Let it run in the background or use it normally.
3. Check after some time—Lulu will no longer be running without any indication.

What I’ve Tried:
• Ensured Lulu is updated to the latest version.
• Checked for crash logs in the Console app (couldn’t find any logs related to Lulu).
• Verified permissions in Privacy & Security settings.
• Reinstalled Lulu.

Let me know if additional information is needed or if there’s a fix/workaround for this issue.

Thank you!

Thanks for the bug report, and sorry for the issue!

I'm hoping there will be more information in the logs can you run:

  1. To view any saved log messages:
log show --predicate="subsystem='com.objective-see.lulu'"
  1. While LuLu is (re)running, capture the debug log messages it streams:
log stream --level debug --predicate="subsystem='com.objective-see.lulu'"

...hopefully this will reveal any error messages / shed some insight into the issue 🤞🏽

Same here and logs are clean. Somehow seems like it's connected to silent mode or no icon displayed. Not sure. Something is forcing Lulu to stop working without error. Almost like I've pressed command+q.

My logs were clean too, and somehow, it never happened again. If it does I'll try to generate the logs again
