Airplay Mirroring not working when Lulu's network filter is On - latest MacOS 15.2 update

Hey guys,

I just updated to Mac OS 15.2, and noticed that mirroring my MacBooks screen over Airplay doesn't work when Lulu is on.

However, I can airplay music perfectly fine from my MacBook , so it seems screen mirroring is specifically broken with Lulu on. I think this has to do with the new updates to screen mirroring such as presenter mode, etc.

Is there a way to 'whitelist' Airplay mirroring in Lulu?

LuLu only blocks items that specifically match its rules ...and especially if the "Allow Apple Programs" setting is enabled, Airplay should definitely be allowed :\

Will keep looking, but yes maybe another Apple bug (especially if Airplay was working fine w/ LuLu on previous versions of macOS). 🫣

@objective-see Thank you for your quick reply! :) It was indeed working all fine in the previous version of MacOS, so I'm not sure what happened on Apple's end. I managed to figure out how to whitelist AirPlayUIAgent and AirplayXPCHelper (even though I think they were already whitelisted) and it still doesn't work.

I'm not very technical but maybe they introduced a new 'daemon' or 'executable' that opens with Airplay since the mirroring UI is also revamped with new options for specific app mirroring , etc, and maybe that isn't under the list of Apple Programs? I have no idea 😀

Same problem here. I just updated my iMac M4 to Mac OS 15.2, and noticed that I cannot connect my Yamaha WX-010 Speakers via Airprint. From my iPad the connection is no Problem. If I uninstall LuLu, connection is no Problem.

@WIPE2023 I tried whitelisting a few daemons related to Airplay but they all already seem to be included under the Apple Programs. We just have to wait and hope for a fix
