I kindly request a solution that would enable users like me to seamlessly employ external links as featured images for each post. This proposed enhancement holds great promise in substantially improving the overall user experience. By empowering users to directly link to externally hosted images, we not only unlock more creative possibilities but also alleviate the strain on storage resources. In my specific case, I've meticulously configured both the 'image' parameter and 'defaultBackgroundImage' within 'Language.en.toml' with the URL 'https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Vinzgh24/goindex-extended/master/images/favicon.png.' Regrettably, the 'blowfish' theme consistently falls short in rendering these images correctly. By granting support for external links as featured images, we empower users to overcome this obstacle and enjoy a more versatile and storage-efficient platform experience.
