I keep having to power cycle the modem because the IP information will suddenly become not set.

i started using the modem last night under 2.11.

while trying to dialing telnet bbs i would start seeing no carrier messages. when i checked ATI it would show
the IP information was blank and i would have to power cycle the modem so it would reconnect to my wifi network and propagate all
the IP information again.
then if i disconnected the IP information would be blanked again or if i tried to HTTP into the modem it would again lose the IP configuration again.
became quite annoying to constantly power cycle.

also connecting to the modem over HTTP only seemed to work for a few seconds on power cycle then the IP information would be lost again.

i have theoldnet wifi modem and it has a bunch of issues as well but it does not constantly lose the IP setting information.

When the modem loses the IP information under the ATI command, is it also losing all wifi connectivity? I'm curious if you try an ATC0 (disconnect wifi) and ATC1 command (connect wifi) if this re-establishes the connection? Not trying to propose this as a solution, just trying to gather some more information. Does anything appear over the serial port when the disconnect occurs (It prints out "NO CARRIER"?), does the wifi logo disappear on the oled display? I may have to add some additional logging to determine what's causing it.
