walkoff apps inside git versioned folder don't register

I'm using a git repo, https://github.com/CyVRio/navrie-walkoff-apps, as a test for having a versioned repo of walkoff apps to load in to walkoff. Upon checking out the repo and moving the repo folder to the walkoff apps directory, it doesn't register the nmap app clone as an app. This will cause problems for having monorepos or repos of apps that are supposed to be pulled and updated periodically.

Desired behavior:
the apps in the repo directory should register.
