I hope this is the right place to post this, I'd rather have provided feedback to the site it self but inexplicably there is no link anywhere to contact or provide feedback.
On the getting started page the concept of private and public key is introduced, there is more non key related text then suddenly out of nowhere it says:
"Now that you have created your public/private key pair,....".
However at no point did it say anything about how to actually create the pair. Is it in the Client software (but it contradicts and says don't ever use your private key with client software)?
For a newcomer you should clearly explain how the keys are generated and handled as part of the "getting started" page process and provide a way for people who have issues with the site or suggestions to provide feedback outside of Github which is not appropriate for "webmaster" style feedback from a web page.
