🎙 Discussion

We have 4 components that seem to be permanently in incubating:

  1. wafer map
  2. rich text
  3. card
  4. tooltip

We don't want anything permanently there. What should we do with each?

Options

  1. Move to Spright
  2. Promote to non-incubating Nimble
  3. Leave as-is for now, something is on the horizon that will move them along

Initial proposal

  1. wafer map - spright, feels like an O+ component, not general purpose for all apps
  2. rich text - spright, feels like an SLE component, markdown format isn't pluggable enough for other apps to customize
  3. card - as-is, will revisit with slide out patterns
  4. tooltip - as-is, will revisit with toggle tip

We discussed this as a team and agreed on the initial proposal above. I have the action item to decide how to track and staff that. Possibly close this discussion, track the decision on the existing per-component issues, and ping the owning teams asking for their blessing and maybe even their staffing.
