Here is how I do :

  • stop homebridge
  • git clone forked repo (ex in ~/Downloads)
  • go to /usr/lib/node_modules/homebridge-sonos (or /usr/local/lib/...)
  • replace index.json with forked one
  • start homebridge and enjoy

I don't know if it's the best way to use forked repo but it works like a charm on my conf.

Can anyone tell me the above steps works? Speciale how to git clone the forked repo. And what commands i need to replace the index.json with the forked one. I use terminal on my MacBook to SSH into the raspberry. Thanks for the help!
