I've been using QTiles with no problem for a while but now, without me knowingly changing any configuration, it fails to start and gives this error: TypeError: QLineEdit.setText(QString): argument 1 has unexpected type 'QPyNullVariant'.
I'm running Python version 2.7.10, QGIS version 2.18.2 on OSX.
Any hint is very appreciated.

It only worked the very first time I used it as well. It's throwing the same error now for all python plugins. Is there a fix?

if there is an error for all plugins, then this is most probably not related to QTiles
