Multiple Access Request Prompts

On occasions, when opening a website such as duckpools, spectrum, etc. without even clicking on connect wallet. immediately when accessing the website, I am prompted with multiple Access requests from Nautilus as shown below.

It is hard to replicate as it happens not so often but enough where it could be annoying for some to have to close down multiple prompts. As per the screenshot above, I was letting it run for a bit and every possible 30 secs to a minute, I would get the calling from pos 4 and get multiple new prompts showing up. Hopefully this can be a bit helpful in trying to find the issue.

Hmm, does this only happens with DuckPools? Personally, I don't see this happening in dApps I frequently use.

What version of Nautilus are you guys using?

It’s happened with most if not all dapps like sigmafi, spectrum, crooks, etc

Wondering if it’s not really a nautilus issue but maybe something on the dApps end?

It’s happened through out many different versions, currently on the latest.

Ok, did some investigation and I'm convinced that's an issue with how dApps are requesting access to Nautilus. Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a dApp and connect your wallet
2. Open Nautilus, go to Connected dApps and remove the connection with the current dApp
3. Refresh the dApp page

Tested this with some different dApps, here are the results:

• SigmaFi: prompts once
• Spectrum: prompts twice
• DuckPools: prompts 9 times

Thanks for testing! Will see if I can reproduce it from other dapps again otherwise can probably consider this issue isolated to Duckpools and closed for now

Hi, I've just tested crooks, spectrum and rosen bridge and got the issue again.

• spectrum: 2 prompts
• crooks: 2 prompts
• rosen: about 4-5 prompts

In spectrum's case, it just took visiting the website and note even clicking on connect a wallet for the prompts to show up.
As you mentioned above, this probably more of a dapp's issue, and should be brought up to them.
