Edit: I better understand the design choice for changing the STCF rather than the MET. It is so you don't have to change the MET during cFS operation, potentially causing internal timing issues. The STCF does not necessarily have to be the start of the mission. Feel free to delete this post.
Hey, I am trying to understand one of the design decisions behind CFE_TIME_SetTime, it seems like a bug. When this API is called it just changes the STCF as opposed to the MET. I am under the impression that the STCF should never actually change because it is how you get the MET, can someone elaborate by answering here or in my previous post on this topic?
