How to flash a nano framework project on esp8266

ESP8266 is not supported, only ESP32.

I fully understand that 8266 is not "supported" but I've also seen examples of people using ESP8266's with nano framework (https://github.com/Dweaver309/ESP8266). So I'm curious how that is attempted? I would love to experiment and see what could be possible with the cheaper boards. Thanks all!

@calebjenkins The github link that you have provided is for .Net Micro Framework which is not supported (abandon by Microsoft) and that was why nanoFramework was created.
