While Naemon when verifying its config will warn about
"Warning: Service 'xxx' on host 'yyy' has a notification interval less than its check interval! Notifications are only re-sent after checks are made, so the effective notification interval will be that of the check interval."
"Notifications will only be (re-)sent directly after a check has been made. So especially for passive checks it may be that the notification_interval and escalations may not work as expected."
This is especially ugly with the escalations. I had to find out painfully myself.
What do you think?

Hi,
While Naemon when verifying its config will warn about
"Warning: Service 'xxx' on host 'yyy' has a notification interval less than its check interval! Notifications are only re-sent after checks are made, so the effective notification interval will be that of the check interval."
this information cannot be found in the documentation. I suggest addding a sentence like the following in the "When Do Notifications occur" section of the Notifications doc page
"Notifications will only be (re-)sent directly after a check has been made. So especially for passive checks it may be that the notification_interval and escalations may not work as expected."
This is especially ugly with the escalations. I had to find out painfully myself.
