Hi all,
Is it possible to dustmask sequences before building the database as it is advised by Kraken developers?
Is it also possible to specify to download references genomes at any assembly level and not only complete genomes?

Hi,
I also have the same question...And I used download_fungi.pl to download Complete genomes of fungi, but I only download 8 genomes sequences...Is it too small? Do we need to build any assembly of the genome? Or just using the 8 complete genomes to doing the download analysis?
