Commenting out code in a theme is broken if variables are present.

Mentioned this to @luwes but adding here to document it

If you comment out some code in a theme that utilises a theme variable it shows up as text in the browser visually e.g <!-- <div>{{>MuteButton}}</div> -->

This doesn't happen if there's no variable present.
