Hey there,

I’m a complete noob to Linux/Ubuntu (just a week in), and I’ve hit the same annoyance fuckery you did that led to your project. Not sure if I should dive in, so I’m hoping you can shed some light.

I’m looking to ALSO custom map buttons and my past experience with Solaar (on another Ubuntu install) was a letdown. Right now, I’m eyeing logiops and potentially pairing it with a GUI from another repo that’s currently slipping my mind.

If I roll with your project and then jump into logiops, will they clash? Am I doubling up on functionality? Should I set up logiops first?

If you’re not super familiar with logiops or just don’t have the bandwidth to tackle my questions, no worries—feel free to close this issue!

But if you can lend some insight, that would be fantastic!
