Rhandsontable not showing drop-down menu options

Problem statement:

The rhandsontable ELISA plate template in the shiny app is not showing drop-down menu options, even though they were added to the code. This means that users might label controls (which are necessary for downstream calculations) incorrectly.

It is not clear if this is because the drop-down menu was defined in the wrong order or if it should be defined outside or inside the server?

Proposed solution:

Seek advice on correct order and placement for drop-down menu (and other elements of rhandsontable).
