Please, be more specific. Are there any critical bugs that were fixed?
To be honest, I know of many shortcomings in current (outdated) version, but on the other hand, I would not like to completely redesign or break current features.

I wasn't thinking on redesign or breaking current features. But if you download that version, you can see that the change log mentions some fixes and features added to OmniXML.

As I'm not familiarized with the code, I'm not sure how hard would be to merge them in this version. That's why I'm asking.
Maybe you didn't know about that version. Or maybe you already did compare them and thought that it wasn't worth the effort.
