Would it be possible to publish this polyfill as an npm package so it can be used in projects?

There are still some open issues and we do not consider the Sanitizer API specification finished. I suggest you use DOMPurify until the specification and the polyfill have matured enough.

I've filed a name dispute complain w/ npm and will try to get the "sanitizer-polyfill" name. The current entry is holding a "blocker", because someone has apparently hijacked the name. Meh!.

Still not on npm?
Name still blocked?

Name still blocked, but more importantly: The Sanitizer API is still not done.
