[Affected Platforms]:

  • All Windows
  • All MAC
  • All Linux

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have the latest version of the "Firefox Notes" application (2826 signed apk) installed on the device.
  • Have the latest version of the "Firefox Notes" add-on (4.2.0) custom built on 7.24.2018 installed.
  • Be logged in the app with the same account used on the Desktop version.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open the App and create a new note.
  2. Sync the app.
  3. Open the Firefox browser with the profile from prerequisites.
  4. Open the Notes sidebar if needed and click the Sync button.
  5. Click on the "Sidebar icon" from the top right of the Desktop browser.
  6. Click on the same icon and observe the behavior.

[Expected result]:

  • All notes are successfully displayed in the "List View".

[Actual result]:

  • The new created note has a delay on being displayed in "List View".

[Notes]:

  • This issue is reproducible with the TxP version of "Firefox Notes".
  • This issue is also reproducible using two different Firefox profiles.
  • This issue has a opposite effect if a note is deleted, while reproducing the same steps, the deleted note is briefly displayed in "List View".
  • Attached is a screen recording of the issue:
