I am using this tool to make some tweaks to the colours to increase contrast between active & inactive tabs, ideally starting from the default theme. Since I cannot find a way to set the default theme as a starting point, I am using the first preset that was selected when I started the tool for the first time, and changing from there.

This preset appears to change the active border colour used in both the search field...

...and in the new-tab-search-bar:

The documentation states that both of these should be controlled by the toolbar_field_border_focus field.

Problem 1

The preset theme claims not to be changing this property, even though this is false (as visible below - the default firefox theme does not use this bright blue):

Problem 2

If I manually intervene and specify this field, only the new-tab-search field is altered, and the find box isn't. Demonstrated below with a particularly vivid shade of pink being selected, yet the bright-blue remains:
