Why disable bluetooth detection?

On this page, scroll down to 3 and at the end it says Note: To fully remove bluetooth detection:

I added that information because we have seen some reports since late last year that some adapters based on the mt7921au chip end up in a bad situation on some hardware with some distros that can detect bluetooth capability when there is none. This ends up interfering with wifi in that wifi can't come up. It is not clear what has caused this problem and it could very well be a bad patch in the bluetooth stack but we have not been able to figure out the exact cause.

Some reports seem to indicate this happens only on systems with AMD CPU's. Other reports indicate that it only happens if there is no other bluetooth support in the system then with certain adapters, they see this problem. I finally pulled the Alfa AXML out of the Plug and Play List as this was showing up too often with that adapter.

This is a short version of the story. Our inability to track down the problem has been frustrating.

Hi morrownr, Sorry for the late reply, and thank you for your reply. I asked the same question at my distros forum and I was called a tinker, and I should not mess with 3rd party software. ??????????? I have the Panda PAU0F(6E), and I am trying to get download speeds close to my Iphone 13 which has wifi6. The Panda won't get close. We have 1 gig service. Iphone gets in the 800s while the Panda in the 600 range. Is this typical? Thanks,

So you ask about the reasons for deleting the bt firmware file out of curiosity but have not experienced the problem yourself?

I have talked to other users of this Panda adapter and I have had no problem reports but what I do not have in the Plug and Play List is a users review. Would you mind writing up a review when you have time? I do not have a template but look at some of the other reviews in the Plug and Play List and pick out one that you think is well done and use it as an example. A good review would be appreciated.
