Hi, @morrownr and @briantbutton! I opened this new topic to stop filling the other one with irrelevant stuff. |

Good idea on the new topic. Of the 3 you want to work on, the only one where I have more than one is the rtl8814au. I can send it but let's see what Brian has that he can send as my repo for the 8814au seems to be the lifeline for the world right now as I don't see anyone else maintaining a driver for the 8814au and if I only have one adapter and it breaks... opps! |

I definitely have something with the RTL8814AU and I have no plans for it. I am sure it would be much happier with you. I can also poke around to find something with the RTL8812AU; 50:50 odds I will have something to spare. I will look into that this week. Still on the RTL8812AU. Alfa informed me that they have an adapter using it that features a USB-C connector. (https://www.amazon.com/ALFA-AWUS036ACH-%E3%80%90Type-C%E3%80%91-Long-Range-Dual-Band/dp/B08SJC78FH) That piqued my interest. If we go so far as to evaluate one, I will get an extra for you. I don't think I can help on the router but I will keep my eyes open. |

@dubhater hello there, is this still up for RTL8814AU? I've seen your work for RTL8812AU, but rtw88 still doesn't support the RTL8814AU chipset, and I'd like to see it supported too. How much would it cost for you from Aliexpress? |

@KiGamji Thank you, but it's not necessary anymore. I have RTL8812AU, RTL8814AU, and a router now. I edited the first post. |

Hi!I want to make either rtlwifi or rtw88 support the RTL8812AU and RTL8814AU chips, but I don't want to buy them. They're a bit too expensive for me, even from Aliexpress.Would anyone like to donate such a device? Also a router which can keep up with them, because mine only knows the 2.4 GHz band.My Amazon wishlist is an easy way to do it.Someone already bought me RTL8811AU. I'm planning to add support for this also.Currently I'm working on adding a new driver to the rtlwifi family, for the old RTL8192DU chip. This is an interesting one. I think it's their only dual band wifi 4 chip. It also has a dual MAC variant, which appears in the system as two devices, one working in the 2.4 GHz band, the other in the 5 GHz band.Previously I played with the RTL8188FU, RTL8188GU, and RTL8192FU.Edit: Not necessary anymore.
