Assistant lines are hard to see

Issue Summary

It's hard to see many of the lines for an assistant level. This might be due to having a high resolution screen.

The assistant line visibility in the most recent OTX release is just fine.

@manongjohn I wonder, did you applied any extra fixes to achieve line visibility on assistants? ^__^

No I haven't. Perhaps it's the stuff I am building with? I can get that for you if you like or you can always check my Travis macOS build logs to see what I am using.
