I'm running Fedora 33 and had to install the CentOS 8 repo for mono-devel and then install monodevelop, which seems to work just fine. However, trying to create a Gtk project I can see an error: The type or namespace 'Gtk' does not exist...
Gtk-sharp2-devel was installed during the process and the Monodevelop version is 7.8.4 (build 2)
I decided to try this version as while the standard repo does work, Nuget is too old and when trying to install older packages to compensate I was encountering issues.
I assumed that with it being Fedora 33 either CentOS7 or 8 would be compatible when installing via yum (as in my experience most packages seem to be fine even if not officially stated in the docs).
I'm not that bothered about using the very latest version so I can work with either finding a resolution for this error or finding a way to update NuGet from inside Monodevelop (as my system version was higher than Monodevelops and worked fine)
Edit: I've looked in references and I can see gtk-sharp/gdk-sharp/glib-sharp
