Sidebar nav does not appear

Hi,

I do not find why my sidebar is not appearing.

My goal is exactly like the example here https://mmistakes.github.io/minimal-mistakes/docs/quick-start-guide/

Here what I have:

Old question, but I had a similar issue, and it was because the page wasn't actually using the layout. The folder might need to be named "_code"
