Hi All,
Love the new design principles of the new mlr3. I just wanted to request a new learner. The package rsparse (https://github.com/dselivanov/rsparse) is a pretty fast robust package that enables R users to develop recommender systems and NLP using sparse matrices. Or other recommender system learner.

hi,
but what exactly is the request? more support specifically for recommender systems? we wont do this very soon very likely?
or to support the classification and regression learners from the package?

@mllg where should requests like the latter be collected? mlr3learners doesnt fit for this perfectly

@berndbischl sorry for the delay in my reply. Yeah more support for recommender systems would be great. However if this is not planned in the short term possibly reconsider when the package is more developed.

Please close this ticket if this feature is not supported in the foreseeable future.
