First, check for bugs:

  • when disk not mounted, don't try to extract metadata, but skip the file (will try on next iteration)
  • any other exceptions that cause files to be marked corrupt when they are not

I there is still a reason to recheck corrupted files, implement --recheck-corrupted option.
