There's a gemfile that doesn't have any semver restrictions on any of the dependencies so potential for break there.

When will the develop branch be merged with the main branch?

Who is going to continue developing this inspec plugin?

All good questions. I had worked with @rbclark before his departure from MITRE on that plugin. I think it is wise to follow usnistgov/OSCAL#1058 and usnistgov/OSCAL#1059. Once those features are integrated, if I understand correctly, there is a more standard OSCAL interface for InSpec and tools like it. The ATARC Orion Working Group method surfaced a lot of challenges, some surfaced in the group's whitepaper.
