I'm doing some refactorings to the codebase, so it would be generally usable and easier to config/modify. Already added plain text emails and will be adding better template for HTML. If there is any feedback, features or ideas that you want to see in this project - I'll be happy to hear them here or directly in the repo. |

I want to present a Miniflux Email client.
Why another client?
Great question.
I don't open RSS reader that often, because of that, RSS reader becomes almost useless with tracking news resources through it. It would be wonderful, if such news could be delivered to apps that have more regular use, e.g. for most people it's email.
There are services that offer such solutions, as example, mailbrew, tacodigest or briefcake. But those come as “second RSS reader” and you would have to manage two readers at the same time.
Here is where Miniflux email client comes in
(if you already use miniflux. Like I do)
miniflux-email-client - offers a self-hosted alternative for these projects.
Move all active RSS feeds into a separate category, (e.g. 'daily'). And Miniflux Email Client would read from that category, send all updates via email and mark all that as read.
Works thanks to GitHub Actions and Gmail's generous free packages and doesn't cost anything. . It's rough and with a limited feature set, but I'm open to contributions. Feedback is always welcome as well.
