So far, the specs passed are not validated at all, we should probably look into that.

Does the new https://github.com/mimicry-tech/openapi_validator solve the problem?

That's the idea, although there is an additional requirement right now where the uniqueness of a spec is determined by its title and version, which are non required parts of the info section.
