How to correctly use std/logger?

I am trying to setup std/logger in my code but there must be something I do not understand as nothing is printed to the log file or stdout (the log file is created but is empty). Here is a very basic example which does not print anything:

(import :std/logger)

(deflogger mylogger)
(start-logger! "./log")

(def (main . args)
  (errorf "An error"))

you are passing it a file, so it will not log to the console.

ah, yes, you need to thread-yield! Before exiting.

The logging is asynchronous.
