I'd love to get out a new release, we've been planning for a bit. I'd like to get this in before if possible, but maybe it can wait. #229

@aneesh-n I think we're going to punt on that change in this release. It seems like there's still some worries about the right API to expose, but we have enough payload right now for a decent release.
