@luzhang06 @buddhawang having a similar problem installing the node packages for the Labeling UX client application on Windows.

Node version: 20.12.1

For me, the canvas package referenced in the dev dependencies is not supported as it attempts to find a release with node-v115 in the name which there is not one. Upgrading the canvas package to 2.11.2 seems to rectify the issue for me.

Reading the release notes for canvas, they haven't had support for Node 20 until this release.

it's referring to a wrong https://github.com/Automattic/node-canvas/releases/
Can someone add a proper readme.md file to run this or dockerize this solution ?

Thanks for the hint @jamesmcroft , I have created a PR which fixes that. It also has a dockerized client image. Although, there are some fixes needed to update the tests (which I have commented for now). Also the dockerfile can be optimized further, but it works fine
