Documentation: Unclear if location providers need to be installed.

From the documentation (https://github.com/microg/UnifiedNlp/blob/master/README.md) I expected that I need to install some location provider. When trying so, this did not work as expected, so I read the docu again. Being just a user, I still do not understand whether recent Gms core ships with a location provider - or if it does not. If it does - can I do setup for it somehow to make it work?

This link as well tells me that microG no longer supports backends.

Could it be the case that documentation is outdated? - Should info on external location providers be erased, and should info on the built-in location provider and its setup and configuration be added?
