Parsec virtual xinput gamepad doesn't function correctly #25
Comments
I believe Parsec uses the ViGEmBus driver. I use this for emulating an Xbox 360 controller with my DualShock 4 as well, and it appears to be working. Are you trying to play multi player, or single player? If single player, do you have a physical controller connected to the Parsec host system? If so, your virtual Parsec controller will end up in XInput and SADX's virtual port 2, which means you only have 2P Tails input |
It's fixed in Version 2.6, for the most part; I'm running into one strange issue, which is that the LT/RT camera controls only function while the analog stick is moving. I've confirmed this is not an issue with Parsec as the Z Axis movement shows up correctly in the Windows USB game controller control panel. The issue disappears while using Steam Input, so it's probably specific to how SDL is handling Parsec's virtual gamepad and maybe out of your control. |
When streaming the game through the streaming app Parsec, no input is detected. Parsec's virtual controller shows up as a normal "Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)" and functions in other Xinput games, as well as in SADX when the input mod is disabled, albeit with the normal characteristic camera spinning bug.
