Currently we provide the BMC credentials through deployment configuration, which does not seem to be necessary. We can dynamically retrieve it from the boot service in the metal-api. When the feature is disabled we just cannot enrich the IPMI reports with BMC details anymore.

Would make metal-stack/metal-roles#96 obsolete.
