It seems that logging to splunk generates a high number of connections, which are filling up the conntrack-tables in the control-plane

VMConntrackTableFull (cluster="test", instance="10.156.15.229:9100", severity="critical")
Alert details: Alert: VMConntrackTableFull - critical
Description: The nf_conntrack table is 99.82452392578125% full.
