There are a variety of bugs in mpv core related to changing playback speed that limit the effectiveness of this script: mpv-player/mpv#13694

The current version of this script is implemented in a way that attempts to avoid the worst effects these bugs. When these mpv bugs are fixed, this script will be able to improve it's functionality with fewer compromises and glitches
