Connecting self hosted Renovate community edition to Bitbucket cloud

Hi there,

I am trying to connect a self-hosted Renovate community edition to Bitbucket cloud.
I am installing renovating using helm chart in the kubernetes cluster.

In bucket, I create an app password for my user with repository write permissions, my values.yaml as below:

renovate:
  mendRnvAcceptTos: 'y'
  mendRnvPlatform: 'bitbucket-server'
  mendRnvEndpoint: "https://api.bitbucket.org"
  mendRnvBitbucketUser: "username"
  mendRnvBitbucketPat: "app password"
  mendRnvLicenseKey: my-key

While running the container, it gives the below error message from :

"body": "{\"type\": \"error\", \"error\": {\"message\": \"Token is invalid or not supported for this endpoint.\"}}"

Can you please help me what should be the value of mendRnvEndpoint, we are using Bitbucket cloud. We are accessing bitbuckt cloud using https://bitbucket.org/my_workspace/workspace/overview/

Unfortunately Bitbucket Cloud is not supported for Renovate CE. However Mend does run a free Renovate app for Bitbucket Cloud if you're interested

It's not a high priority for us because we already have a fully hosted app for Bitbucket Cloud (which has free Renovate): https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1232072/mend?tab=overview&hosting=cloud

@rarkins our problem is that we like it to check if dependencies in projects can be upgraded with newer versions of our firms own libraries in a not public nexus / maven repository. If we are to use it with the hosted app at Bitbucket Cloud we have to make that maven repository public, which is something that is a no-go.

If the registry is on a public host, but token-protected, then you can configure hostRules.

If it's on a private host, but have the capability to forward selected connections, the Mend cloud application has a list of static IPs.

Alternatively, you can approach Mend to become an Enterprise customer, wave a contract in Mend Sales' face, and we'll likely be asked to prioritize adding BBC support to CE/EE.

@rarkins thanks - the server is pretty much on a private network, but we might start using AWS CodeArtifact in the coming months. I guess it will make things a bit easier, right?
