Hello, I'm very sorry for the late reply - it was somewhere at the bottom of my notification list 😄 I appreciate your proposal to join forces, but I honestly can't see a common base: Nextcloud Deck aims only for Android and will never support other platforms. On the other hand, we make use of and rely on the Nextcloud Single Sign on, bringing benefits in terms of security and maintenance (regarding the network stack). On the other hand we have quite a lot of issues which are actually caused by the Deck server app - wondering whether you are experiencing them, too? Especially No, I unfortunately don't have that much PHP experience, but maybe this could be a good starting point which we all have in common? |

hi @StCyr @stefan-niedermann,
with this I search for a open discussion about existing mobile app for nextcloud deck.
All of us is developing a open-source mobile client for deck. right?
here are our git repositories:
It's great that all of us believes in open-source software.
But all of us, are working (mostly alone) on similar problems, bugs, features and so on. And anyone of us must work hard to support all the things around our apps like support, answering questions, testing, store entries, advertising, developing and so on.
Perhaps it can be better to bundle our competences to created a combined user experience. What do you thing about it?
Naturally I can understand, if you can't believe in that vision. There are some hard challenges like our different tech-stacks or is the app payed or for free. But I'm sure, that these challenges can be solved together.
And I believe there can be a way, to work together without loosing too much freedom in development.
So I asked you. What do you thing about working together ?
