It'd be useful to identify which font is used as the system font; it's a little hard to track the information down. Experimentation shows that it's 'Helvetica' on non-Retina devices, and '.HelveticaNeueUI' on Retina devices. Not sure what exactly the difference is between HelveticaNeue and .HelveticaNeueUI, though.

That’s a really sharp observation about System Fonts. I think users really should know that type of information. I’ve debated about having more of a “bloggy - informative” feature of the site, but I’m seriously overcommitted as it is.
Leaving open so that I confront my fears in a cold sweat at early hours. “Am I doing enough to help my fellow developers??”
