My Fritzbox 7590 is connected on the WAN port but has the same problem:

FritzBox GUI says: ↓ 360,0 Mbit/s ↑ 120,0 Mbit/s,

check_fritz says:
OK - Max Downstream: 0.00 Mbit/s | 'downstream_max'=0.000000;;;;
OK - Max Upstream: 0.00 Mbit/s | 'upstream_max'=0.000000;;;;

I have switched over from check_tr64_fritz and everything works as expected, except the usable/max upstream and downstream rate is always 0 for all DSL Fritzboxes. These two checks seem to work only on Fritzbox Cable boxes.
