Hi all, I'd like to use PayForMe but I'm getting confused each time I try to connect my IPhone to a project on my nextcloud.

What are the right settings in the app? :-o

Server URL: https://[mydomain]/[mynextcloud].... anything else? like [project]??? ("insert link" won't work)

Project ID: Name of the project? My User?
Projekt hinzufügen (The Label of this section says "Projekt und Passwort") PW of the project? My Nextcloud-User? What is needed here??

When I try to enter data the app starts searching for the server after three characters are added to the "Projekt hinzufügen" box and if not successfull the app freezes and has to be restarted. I've spent hours trying several combinations....

In the past I manged to add a project twice but I don't remember how :-o

This should be documented and at least the German labels should be corrected and the user should see what to do!!

regards,

Hans

OK, got it.

Server means https://[mydomain]/[mynextcloud], nothing else
ProjectID is the name of the project but not necessarily what you see in cospend after you changed the projects name! You have to find the right ID first in the UI of cospend!
"Projekt hinzufügen" means the PW of the project (which makes no sense as a label!

Hopefully I'll remember this when I set up a new project in the future!

(Or hopefully you'll change the labels/trnaslations....)

Regards

Hans

Thanks for your hints, Hans.
Since the QR Code scan in your app does not work for me (IOS 15.7.1 with nextcloud 24.07) i had to fill in the information manually and set a password for the project (which does not exist after setting up the project)

Hey @AnMB23, thanks for the feedback. Can you provide the Cospend version you used? Did the QR code scanning itself did not work or could the app not understand the qr code?

The QR code is supposed to make it easier, so you don't have to do the manual flow

@Hustenbonbon My cospend version is 1.4.10
I tried both ways
scanning the Code with the iPhone Camera app which opens the code in payforme
Open payforme and select qr Code option
The "Scan the QR code to proceed" field shows up, but pressing it has no effect.

I'll try to find some time soon to test it with and without QR code soon.
Solving it properly would mean integration of NextCloud-Users, which will probably be a bigger topic

I confirm I also have the bug the scan of QRcodes don't work on IOS.
I also tried to past URL and it's only filling the server address and not the other needed informations to connect.

Aside from that it works once you manually fill the form. Application is great and super usefull.
